Johnston was different in the sense that he was the writer of the songs and it was a dual partnership for who owns them, but at the end of the day Johnston had majority of control of them (hence why he was paid royalties for the songs instead of a base pay per song).

Bruce didn't say he knew anything definitively.

There's no way WWE doesn't own the rights to that music. That would be like working for ATT and coming up with a new type of phone. All that shyt is owned by the company.
