If you listened to the Haney podcast with the Pivot before the fight, Haney was calling that shyt out. He said that Loma is not at like the image he portrays. Behind closed doors, Loma is very arrogant. Haney saw it before the fight and we are seeing that shyt come out in public, but the general boxing public will never call out their Euro Golden boy. Loma been protected for years for being a dikk while Haney gets shyt on for being by all accounts a good guy with an old school mentality who is willing to fight all of the best fighters.

Here’s the conundrum. Once he loses, it’s over. Floyd Mayweather was supremely and otherworldly gifted and never gave them the satisfaction so they kept coming back for more. Haney isn’t gifted. Despite my comments in this thread, I don’t hate Devin. It’s his fans who I had to deal with about their false narratives of someone ducking him and that he was better than Tank. As a ‘casual’, I followed and knew about Devin before most people. I was an avid fan of his. I knew him before I knew Tank. As he started to fight better competition, I was able to better assess his skills and he’s limited. Devin got the win, Loma was overrated and I’m on record IRL saying that, but his fans aren’t as confident in that Tank fight anymore.

I can actually believe that Lomachenko is an arrogant prick. The longer I have to to think about the fight from Saturday, it's evident in his strategy. He really felt like his strategy was built out as if he was fighting for a decision like HE was the champion, and Haney had to push to take title off HIM.

Haney is well spoken and tries to come off as professional as possible because unlike Shakur and Tank he has his father there and is Muslim. But you don’t know him.
