Lomachenko is a natural featherweight, fought as a blown up 135 pounder tonight. Haney was the naturally bigger man. Haney had a six inch reach advantage and Loma still touched him more, left hand landed with ease and with all those body shots Haney was doing, Loma still came forward because he wasn't scared of return fire. We can see that Loma lost but it did not look good for Haney because it clearly laid bare and exposed his limitations for the world to see. Moving up is going to do what? Get his wig split? A natural featherweight was snapping his head back, what do you think someone that fights naturally at 140 is going to do? Canelo is a much better fighter than Bivol, weight classes in boxing do exist for a reason. Tonight, we saw water just about reach its level with Haney. Good enough for everyone else at 135 but Tank or Shakur? Don't want those problems.

I don't know how he would fare at 140 but he not fukking with shakur and he says he hates making weight so move up and get good fights at 140.

Loma is still a supremely talented boxer. blown up or not he wouldn't be a easy fight for anyone in those weight classes. Haney really has low power at 135, he may have more if he isn't draining himself. who knows. still looks like he marked up loma pretty well so :yeshrug:

but ultimately he is in a precarious position because I don't think he beats Shakur at all. dunno about tank, Loma is a better win than anyone hes fought up till now.

That reach has Loma's face looking like it needs to be dipped in peroxide :mjlol: .

Loma was indeed bothered by the return fire as well, breh complained pre-fight about Haney clinching but ended up doing it himself to a high degree to help negate body shot counters. He really didn’t start to land on Haney efficiently until Haney got a bit fatigued himself.

On the flip Haney isn't a natural 135 er himself/is likely fighting at a weaker weight.

I still think Tank beats all of these guys at 135 tho.

Gang violence...
if im haney i fight as many mexicans as the champion belt governing bodies will allow, rematch a now even older loma late next year, then move up to 140 and prepare to start losing. that's a hall of fame career.

Side Note but it's funny to see the commentary/view of Tank Davis switch in the last 6 months

Before 2023, It was "Oh Tank Davis is overrated". "He hasn't fought anyone". "He ain't no Mini-Mike Tyson"

Now everyone on the Coli and Social Media like "Oh man, Tank beats Haney easily"

How funny what 6 months can do. Glad everyone finally came around to see that Tank Davis is a legit pound for pound fighter :salute:

?
He is still overrated :pachaha:
A world-class fighter but hasn't proven yet that he is some P4P great like his fans like to claim, no. Hard to do that when you are defending regular belts anyway.
The Ryan Garcia fight was a step in the right direction

You'd usually see other athletes come out around this time and be on some "That's a bad man right there #Haney! 💪"

Ain't nobody saying anything about this fight. Actually been the opposite.
Because black fighters are expected to be flawless. If that was Ricky Hatton in the ring and he won by the same margin, the marching band would be going on for weeks.

They'd be waxing lyrical about his "grit and determination".

He's fought better fighters than Ryan Garcia. But somehow "Ryan Garcia is a step in the right direction"

Tank Davis haters are all over the place :dead: :dead: :laff: :laff:
