💯. That 10th round no way Devin won.

I don't understand how people keep crying robbery with close fights. No different than Ward vs Son of Vodka 1. If it wasn't for that knockdown Ward wins 115-113. It's subjective when it's close and both are elite.

In the first eight rounds you can make a strong case Devin won six of them.

Folks was see an all-out robbery? Watch (god bless him ) Punisher vs Lara? That was a robbery.
Yeah it wasn’t a robbery. There were close rounds but idk… i felt like Devin did enough to win majority of them

116-112 is crazy though

You have 3 rounds to deal with errors.

Did all of the cards read 116-112? Did they all score the 10th to Haney? If he was setting out to rob Lomachenko, more of the swing rounds would have gone Haney's way.

A lot of robberies happen in the sport but this wasn't it. A 115-113 is what I scored it so a one round difference on one of the cards isn't going to be shocking to me. It is within the realm of plausible errors which is mitigated by having 3 judges.

Some time ago someone suggested placing judges in an elevated position. I believe this could help. We see the action on TV so it is a bit easy to see when punches land. If you do more of your action in front of the judge, you'll probably have an advantage over someone who does their action on the opposite side of the ring where what lands is less visible.

nikkas can stop puttin Haney in those convos he dont belong.

Shakur washes him. Tank KOs him. Keyshawn whoops on him too and even Frank Martin gettin to that level.

Haney has size at LW. Great jab. Good athlete. Not much else. Mid power. Shaky chin. Poor gas tank late unless he dominatin and in full control of a fight. No combos, little versatility, one dimensional.

He finna run from Shakur but movin up @ 140lbs he finna get exposed for the size and athlete merchant that Teofimo been and will get further exposed for too.

Haney VS Prograis? :russ::mjlol: that nikka get butchered and stopped.

JWW been arguably most stacked division in recent years too. Teo barely a top 10 fighter there if that (Sandor decision was sus and Sandor not a clear top 10) while he was lineal undisputed @ LW.
Haney is a loser for fighting better competition? Wtf..Tank has struggled with Barrios..lol

nikka saying 115-113 good but 116-112 a travesty :wtf:

It’s only a 1 round difference…

Loma wasn’t doing shyt but doing little flutters to try and steal the round.
cuz the judge gave loma the 10th round which is cap

edit:
if you take away rounds 11 and 10 that obviously loma won, haney outlanded loma 103-93:ohhh:

Now he just being a lil whiny bytch.
How though? Linares was able to at least drop Loma. Teofimo literally BEAT him. WAY more decisive win too. This fight just elevated Teo’s win over Loma.

Haney didn't have the power to keep a shopworn 35 year old Loma honest. Crazy.

Imagine if Haney came out publicly and said

“As a competitor it’s very hard for me to say this but it’s only right. The fans are all in accordance it was a Loma win. It would be injustice for me to stand by and do nothing since I’m also in accordance with the sentiment that is shared across all of boxing today. It would be quite hypocritical of me. I can run off into the sunset but I’m choosing to give up the “O”. Boxing needs this, I’ll be back better🙏” MIC DROP.

Haney would gain immense respect from fans. The love of the people by far is a better feeling than the hate. Look at the Anthony Joshua and Floyd video. Floyd never got the love of the community. You can see it hurts him (Hof convention). Haney gains more from this than looses. Improves the sport, gives him massive respect, erases pressure of being undefeated/starts to kill off that O trend.

This boxing subreddit is going to be gold for a few weeks these loma stans are seriously hurt :dead:

And I like loma A LOT (skill wise) but this is hilarity to observe

That’s campaigning at 47 and was competitive with Keith Thurman.

Loma made me laugh at the end with how adamant he was on the “Jesus Christ Orthodox Church” tip.

Always interesting and often disappointing how race and even religion come into play with boxing.

24yo Black American undisputed champion (who happens to be of Islamic faith) wins a close fight in his home country and home/residence state, and is booed relentlessly afterward. Why?

Loma turned it into a battle of the gods after the fight just because Haney thanked Allah a couple times.

pokemon logic doesn't work with fighters and even then Haney beat Linares too, didn't get knocked down (even though people meme about the one time he was visibly hurt) and beat the dude that beat Teo, twice.

Loma just being salty, which is expected. I'm a sore loser sometimes too and not nearly as accomplished as he is.
