I'm not sure but if it's anything like the rest of the entertainment industry, probably not. It can be a nightmare for Black actresses and models to find make up artists that know how to work with our skin tones. Ditto for hair dressers. I know Naomi generally uses outside people for her installs and braids.

You have to follow trends set by your target audience/ market segmentation. Back in the day, things were created that became memes. Today people ride memes and internet creations top drive advertising when aimed at young people. Commercials aimed at older markets still have a little variety to them though but for the most part it's all memes/ humor
