Perhaps, but I'd argue that MJF is the top prioritized heel in AEW and booked as such. He's yet to be beaten individually, and they're probably going to build him up slowly toward a shot at the top title through an angle with major heat.

Rumor was he was supposed to be the guy facing Moxley tonight anyway before rona fukked any chance of a build when he couldn't get to the shows. Which I understand except that there has been all of about 3 weeks of half assed build for this match anyway & MJeff could have taken a loss to Moxley a lot more easily than Brodie at this point
