In kayfabe WWE is a fighting league, and whoever makes the matches put two popular big name fighters against each other because it'll be a big match.

it just sounds so stupid, but I'm sure it's in the Saudi contract that WWE has to hype them up that way. no one outside of Saudi Arabia sees these shows as WrestleMania. they're just glorified house shows.
