Rocky's music is 1000 times better to me and he has a way bigger movement and it factor. I'd be surprised if ASAP didn't turn up next year especially after ferg's success.

So you think, on a mainstream level (radio, BET, MTV, etc.), people are going to stop checking for songs like Versace and Type of Way, and the airwaves will be ruled by songs that sound like this?
No slight to the song, it's dope, but seriously?
Not necessarily.. but I think there will be more of a balance back rather than the radio mostly being all trap sounding music.
And to be honest.. I don't think just cause someones song is all over the radio and shyt means they "blew up" necessarily or will blow up

Is Young Thug signed? If not, he should stay unsigned.. not cause hes horrible or nothing, but because whatever label hes signed to prob won't do him justice. he should stick to building his buzz and gaining a dedicated following.
Ferg didn't have any success, breh. His shyt went plastic. That Mob album is going plastic. If Rocky can reinvent his sound, which I highly doubt, much power to him but ain't nobody falling for the same trick twice.
You right that ASAP has the larger following now but the same people who blew him up (Fader, Vice, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone) have moved on to Thug and are going to make him the next dude in line. Rocky had his year and couldn't even go gold.
I put money that Young Money signs Thug in 2014 and it's game over.

dude sold 65k will no prior material out other than a few songs that were on the mob tape and shabba which wasn't even big at the time his album came out.. you fooled yourself for thinkin someone who had no mixtape out or nothing would sell well.. your expectations are unrealistic.

Thug would be a sped to sign with young money.
And success comes with more than album sales, as trash as I think ferg is that nikka done helped brand ASAP past just rocky. Plus his album was supposed to be a free mixtape and the sales were decent if u keep that in mind plus he is a new artist with no major promo. Rocky is gonna be rocky why do he need to reinvent himself??? He's already shown progression in his style. That nikka gone only get better
