One of the disappointments in this year’s Sony E3, was definitely not seeing any old classics from the ps2 era being revived in upcoming games for the PlayStation 4.

There are some great games coming to the PS4 between the end of this year and the next one no doubt, but wouldn’t we like to see new games from the PlayStation 2 franchises on Sony’s new machine?

Of course we would, so let’s start with the list.

5 - Sly Cooper

The last Sly Cooper game released was on the Playstation Vita, and it’s actually free this month on the Playstation Store for Plus Members. However wouldn’t we like to see a full Sly Cooper game with the power of the PS4 and made for the home console itself? the possibilities to bring back the witty thief are limitless.

Maybe when the movie releases we might see a tie in game.

4 – MediEvil

One of my first Playstation 1 games was MediEvil, and i was rather dissapointed not seeing a new game on Sony’s Playstation 3. The last title we saw of the franchise was in Sony’s PSP.

Without a doubt we’re missing some MediEvil humor in our life’s and the PS4 could be one of the best places to launch a new title and revive the franchise!

3 – The Getaway

The Getaway; Black Monday was one of my favorite open world games of all time and is yet another game that unfortunately never made it to the Playstation 3 even though it was announced at E3.

No details recently have been revealed about the game but I’m pretty sure that is mostly dead. Would we like to see Getaway on the PS4? Hell yeah we would, we definitely need a London based Open World on the library.

2 - Syphon Filter

One of my favorite franchises of the Playstation brand. I’ve followed this franchise from Syphon Filter 1 to the last one called Syphon Filter : Logan’s Shadow which was released on the PSP.

Always loved the story and the characters of this franchise and nothing would make me more happier than seeing Gabriel Logan back on Sony’s PS4 via possibly a reboot.

1 – Jak & Daxter

Jak & Daxter… Most of my times playing Playstation 2 were spent in Jak & Daxter games either driving thorough the desert scavenging ammo thorough the sewers in Jak 2, Jak & Daxter is one of those franchises which I’ve always had in my heart.. I even loved Jak & Daxter : X and would buy a HD version of it in one second.

Even though Naughty Dog is now working on Uncharted 4, I would really love to see their next game being a J&D. If you’re wondering about what’s going on with J&D check out our interview with the Naughty Dog team last year on Last of Us press tour.

I want a sequel to Heavenly Sword & Folklore. Also, you forgot Crash Bandicoot from your list.

folklore was my shyt, fun ass game...and just another example that japan studios doesn't release bad games..

heavenly sword was cool, great character acting and script, but it pissed me off that as soon as you got powers to fukk shyt up, the game was over....

as for the list, it's incorrect: the sly cooper game they talking about came out on ps3 as well, I bought it...'sly cooper: thieves in time'...

None of those are Sony games and most of those are series outdated. And Turtles in tiem, could've sworn did get a PS3/360 re-release and your opinions are trash.
