I think guys like Darius Bazley, Mitchell Robinson, LaMelo Ball, R.J. Hampton are proving college ball is irrelevant

Makur wouldn’t miss anything if he just took a year off and just trained with his cousin lol so why not go to an HBCU?

The only perks of playing for UCLA is being in Los Angeles, having a year of the college boy lifestyle, playing for a historic program, the facilities, national coverage being on ESPN, getting paid under the table shyt like that.
That's actually a lot of perks breh lol.

John Wall took a visit to NCCU cause him and Lavelle cool..it’s a way to get other lower ranked prospects interested in the school for the coach

I remember him saying he was going to take another visit to NCCU and the NCAA had told him no. Dennis Smith gave Fayetteville State a visit out of respect too but they weren’t D1 so he put them in his Top 10.

The only, that is the perks, i seriously think a lot of dudes never been to an hbcu to be able to compare and contrast, there was a huge difference between my school and university of Alabama, there is a huge difference between Maryland and Howard, from something simple as travel, to nutritionist, to food available the list goes on

But how do HBCUs get to that point without the big name athletes committing first? shyt these dudes are investments so if they aren’t provided the best of the best by potential partners then something is wrong.

They aren’t under NCAA rules correct?

Yes, all schools are ncaa or naia

Why are you asking kids to die on your hill ??

If you want kids to go to hbcus,

Get them a tv contract
Improve their facilities
A proven coach that can maximize their talent
A great strength and conditioning coach, and nutritionist
This is minimum

:patrice: aint your boy @Francium asian
lol naw.

Funny thing is I was the only one out of my brothers not to go to Howard.

In his position, I hope he goes to HU for obvious reasons. More so, the only three significant black communities at UCLA was ADOS, Habesha and Nigerian. If he goes to Howard, he'll get so much more diversity of the diaspora. Regardless, I haven't heard much of us recruiting him. If anything, I read he's thinking of going overseas.
