5-10$ is what waiters get from me depending on the service. if i'm eating out with my girl or someone else then ill throw in a few extra dollars. i dont like the system restaurants have in place but waiters have a tough job, especially in low/middle class income areas, so i tip them to help them out.

I tip based on quality of services rendered. No way is a waiter getting 20% off rip from me. If your service is exceptional though I have no problem tipping as high as 35%.

NOW to address what the thread is about...I make sure to tip well anytime I go out to eat...I'm just an empathic person like that..I used to work in the service industry so I know how it is dealing with all sorts of people on a daily basis...it can take a lot out of you and a good tip might help them get through the rest of the day....BUT I do understand why someone won't tip if they get bad service...it's bad service...is it that hard to comprehend?...I don't understand you people like ML that think you have to tip no matter what....now the person who typed up that blog post is just cheap as fukk...and they know it too but instead of taking responsibility they'd rather project their insecurities on the waiter but it backfired

How about this brehs.....next time yall go out to a sit-down restaurant, tell the wait staff you won't need their services and just to leave your tray at the front desk, and that you'll refill your own drinks at the bar
