Didn’t watch. I may later today.
It’s tough being a black man. It’s tough being a family man and not having somebody to confide with you.
We all have our struggles with manhood, being a proper husband, being a great father, being a leader of our family unit and being a follower of God (if you believe in that).
To me, sharing those struggles, successes, infliction points with like minded men can be relief. It can inspire. It shows you that you aren’t the only one going through this. You can get other people’s experience on how they came out the other side.
I been on this current program for almost two years. We just won another 5 year contract. The previous contract I was on is about to end in May. I have a solid 8 guys I rock with to this day. Many have already been RIF’ed. We share each other’s plans and next moves. We encourage each other and let each other know of different job postings.
None of us move on social media. We noticed the hate, envy and foolery years ago.
