The Massacre was top heavy. The songs that are good, are REALLY good, and better then anything on get rich, but there’s so many bad songs on the majority of the album it’s ridiculous.
Encore and The Massacre marked the decline of the Shady/Aftermath reign.

And Curtain Calls/GRODT Soundtrack was the last hurrah of their reign before hip hop moved on from their movement.

Nah his shelved debut was good. His 2nd release The Massacre was solid and his 3rd release wasn't bad either. It's just that last album he put out that was meh.

If you replace the original Outta Control with the remix, The Massacre is even with GRODT.

The massacre was dope. It was just to long of an album.

But the original massacre would have been the best follow up in hip hop history.

shyt would of had

WestSide Story
Hate or love it
Higher
How we do
Church for thugs

this BS rhetoric needs to stop

fif has a solid discography outside of GRODT

POTD, Guess Whos Back, 50 Cent is the future, Gods Plan, Automatic Gunfire, No mercy no fear, Beg for mercy, Gunit radio tapes, Massacre, GRODT ST, Curtis had some gems, BISD, War Angel, Forever King, Big 10, Kanan Tape...

2 solo albums, one group album, several mixtapes and several hit songs. I’d say massacre gets overlooked of course cause Grodt was on such a different level, and also cause 2005 was stacked with southern shyt and then add The documentary. Making it forgettable.

But generally his a reign on the top was short like leprechauns but that reign was one of, if not, the biggest reign ever. Albeit that Nelly and Eminem got bigger albums.

First Album was a classic

Every album after that was mid down to trash

But he had good radio singles and collaborations afterwards that kept him going

I fukked with the massacre heavy when it dropped.

Same with the GRODT soundtrack. It was a wrap after that.

3 album run with some remixes and a crew going platinum is about the avg for a rap superstar at the time. :manny:
