No sir Led Zeppelin is in the process of getting sued for Stairway to Heaven and it was released in the early 70s
There's an SOL breh. Just pulled this from a Rolling Stone article. Like I thought, it's a three year SOL.

The plaintiff did reveal what may be its key advantage. A major point in both sides' cases is the statute of limitations around "Stairway" royalties. Through examination of Page, Malofiy revealed that a previously unreleased version of "Stairway" - included in a companion disc of alternate mixes from Led Zeppelin IV done by Page and engineer Andy Johns as part of a recent series of Zeppelin reissues - may actually be liable under the three-year statute of limitations at issue in the case.

I met Bird before, he was cashed out for those beats because he had brought a mansion and was riding high. I think he did In the Club too. Must have went broke and looking for unpaid royalties.

I think you are confusing the length of copyright protection and the statute of limitations for bringing a copyright infringement action.
Nope

Go to Google News and search Stairway to Heaven

Then think about the Blurred Lines case

I did. It confirmed there is a three year SOL. See what I posted above.

Breh . . :mindblown:

Led Zepellin is being sued right now for a song that came out before the 70's

Marvin Gaye won how much in his settlement against Robin Thicke?

Come on breh, I'm serving it to you on a platinum platter

Why are you bringing up the Robin Thicke case? Are you saying that wasn't filed within three years? As for the Led Zeppelin case, I'm guessing they argued that they only recently discovered the infringement? I do t know though. I don't do that type of law.
