Why not? Outside of Eazy E the biggest L that Dr Dre ever took was from the line 'AYO DRE, stick to producin' Not to mention the various shots sent on The Chronic and various Lynch Mob songs.

The beat is far from "insanely epic powerful"



That's where the problem is really. At first the song was cool but nobody listens to that shyt anymore. Their verses were underwhelming, being as they came together as the two Kings of NY after a huge war.

Thought this was a pretty dope track, especially since I've never rocked with Fat Joe much. Too bad this song was probably 9 years too late.

I also thought Black Republicans was pretty mediocre, even back then. I think people fell in love with the title of the song and the fact that it was Nas and Jay fresh off beef, so it was such an event with those two working together. Outside of Success (a GREAT song) and I Do It For Hip Hop, Nas and Jay songs together are duds.
