Rapper 50 Cent has apologized after making fun of an airport employee who has autism.

The “In Da Club” star posted a video of himself on Twitter teasing Andrew Farrell at Cincinatti/Northern Kentucky Airport, saying the janitor seemed “high as mother[BLEEP].” The worker seems to ignore his remarks.

It turns out Farrell, 19, has trouble communicating because of his condition.

“While the incident at the airport resulted from an unfortunate misunderstanding, I am truly sorry for offending the young man,” the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, told Page Six in a statement. “It was certainly not my intent to insult him or the disability community, which is a source of great strength in America. I have apologized personally to him and his family.”

While media reports suggest the family is demanding money in compensation for the slight, an attorney for the family said in an email obtained by Page Six that they would be satisfied by a “sincere apology.”

“The family only wants a sincere apology from Mr. Jackson,” wrote attorney Matthew J. Hammer. “The Cincinnati area loves Mr. Jackson and his work and I think it can only be mutually beneficial if he is willing to offer an apology to Andrew and his family.”

considering 50 is so famous and this kid is mentally handicapped he probably doesn't want a lawsuit filed and have to pay a settlement

him actually fighting the case vs this kid is not worth the negative publicity

a check was written before that could happen, trust

What PRINCIPLE :what: y'all dudes just making up laws now :martin: Even if he did write a check it was because he WANTED to...no judge would rule in favor of the kid in this situation. Hell I doubt if any lawyer would touch this case.
