This like when M.O.P. talked about how the OG Ante Up Remix was supposed to feature Jay-Z & Prodigy while they were beefing! Why wouldn’t you drop that record???? That would have been HUGE having two heavyweights beefing on a track as hard as Ante Up :ohlawd:
Hip Hop was robbed of that moment. The world would have stopped if that remix came out back then.

What was the reason for dissing Cam on Back Down?

Imagine a 50 Cent/Diplomats beef back in 2002.

In the name of loyalty to both sides M.O.P. didn’t drop that record. Honorable but bad business :russ:

Truth be told Busta Rhymes was more fitting feature for that track :hubie:

M.O.P and the Mobb were labelmates but Loud was on the verge of getting sold to Sony so of course M.O.P had a exit plan. They ended of signing to DDMG and then G-Unit.

More than likely King of the Hill, NY shyt. I want to say that 50 admitted in an interview back in the day he like to take shots and throw jabs at the opps/competition, akin one of his favs Krs-one and being the bully/villain.

Cam was arguably the biggest star on the Roc in 2002, behind Jay. Cam’s crew was big in the same Mixtape arena just like 50 and G-Unit. Competition.

50 and Jay been having their back and forth jabs since 1999. Also Jay was top dog, so it goes back to going at the best.

Aside from the who J-Lo single thing between Nas and 50, I didn’t see anyone mention that In 2002, there were rumors of Nas signing with Murda Inc (he had that ‘Pledge’ song with Ja and Ashanti, and I believe Irv was on radio saying they were going to make it happen). Also I think 50 just wanted to be the third man in a triple threat match with Jay and Nas :lolbron:

R.Kelly - the reports, the sex tape, Best of Both Worlds. 50 loves to be in the fukkery in general.

50 hurt the Dips when he saw Jimmy and Cam feuding.

Typical Divide and Conquer.

I like how 50 came back in the game as a bully. Being nice in Hip Hop, gets you dissed.
