50 is not a wack MC. He just fell off musically and is focused on other business ventures. He can still rap if he wants like Snoop, but who really buys Snoop albums? Snoop kept making music after he fell off. 50 is smart. He has classic music he can tour off of if and when he wants. Most 50 year old rappers with as much money as 50 arent making new music anymore besides Snoop, Nas and Em. If you're a legacy act like Drake, 50, Jay-Z, Nelly, etc. you don't need to though. You already proven what you needed to prove in rap. You don't need to prove anything else once your name is solidified.

If he fell off musically that means he's wack now. It's not rocket science. You want to talk about historically when it doesn't apply. Fab just took a shyt on him lyrically, now he has something to prove. His back catalog isn't going to help him.

Ja and irv looked silly cosplaying gangstas when a real one was on they case they couldn't do nothing with . Couple that with a mass marketing campaign with infinite funding to spotlight this and it was game over
Back down and i smell p*ssy were serviceable enough...i guess. They weren't enough to bury murder inc though. To be clear Im not saying he didn't win... im saying it wasn't the music that won it for him.
