I agree with your post outside of this. 50 cent is a great rap artist. We don't have to reduce his whole career to hype. He was great at a lot of things. The real Massacre album was stripped-down coz he did stuff for Game, Buck, Banks and G-Unit in between GRDT and The Massacre.

He was causing havoc during his mixtape run too. He has a classic under his belt and monster hits everyone knows.To say one of the most Iconic rappers of the 2000s was never anything but hype is a lie.

Looking at the latelys, he's been clapped on by both ends of the spectrum with Dave Blunts and Fabolous. Banks isn't jumping out the window to try and save him either like with Ross.

Dave Blunts even dissed him and he no showed. But battling is apart of Hip Hop. It's also what got him famous. By name dropping every name possible for his own benefit with How To Rob. Now he's above it all all of a sudden. But judging from the song above he's washed anyway so maybe it's best we don't hear him anymore.
