Fact remains this is a L. Chapter 11 debt doesn't mean your debt gets admonished, it simply gets restructured. In other words, whatever haircut his debt receives, his assets will also be reduced nearly the same.

This isnt like Donald Trump prudently filing for chpt 11 on one of his firms.

Claiming bankruptcy aint a good look, if you actually have money coming in. Chapter 11 isn't THAT bad though, basically it means he gotta shuffle somethings around and can still make money with what he is over. If he claimed chapter 7 then it would be a wrap.
