so lemme get this straight. Kendrick Lamar is worth 20 mil and bought a regular 4 room house in a regular middle class suburb for 500k. Smart Rapper. Meanwhile 50 Cent sold the 52 room mansion he bought from Mike Tyson for 4 mil in 2003, for 8 mil. Renovations and upkeep totalled 10 mil over the years. Dumb Rapper. wtf you need 52 rooms for?

He bought a house 3 hours away from NYC because at the time he had several people in NYC plotting to murder him. So he wanted a house far enough away from Queens/NYC to be safe but, still close enough to come back.

And that's also why he took 5 years to sell it. Because most (rich) people don't want to live in any part of Connecticut that's 3 hours away from NYC. Not when there's mansions in CT that are 40 mins away from NYC.

I still don't know why he wanted to live in the middle of nowhere .
50 is smart but he probably didn't think twice before he bought the house he was on top moving mad units, killing artists, being involved in billion dollar acquisitions etc so he was probably feeling himself and did something wild. shyt like that is illiquid as fukk, it's all about location :snoop:

Depends on Where you live breh..... :youngsabo: 500K aint good enough for a mini mansion???:dahell:

Also for one dude do you really need 25 rooms tho???? :mindblown:

:mjlol: Dumbass brought a damn house and LOST money on it, when he could have spent 500k and brought a nice ass mansion and lived decently....

That's the problem with houses that expensive. Not only is the upkeep absurd, but you're limited to the number of buyers who can actually afford it.

50 Cent can smell the $8 million he'll get for selling his Connecticut mansion, but there are still a few hurdles before he can get it.

As we reported ... 50's landed a buyer for the sprawling 21 bedroom, 25 bath home -- and that buyer intends to turn the estate into an assisted living facility. However, according to the docs ... the sale is contingent upon a couple things.

First, the buyer has to get zoning approval to convert the crib into a retirement home ... and also, the bankruptcy judge has to approve the whole deal.

Fiddy's lawyers want to close on April 29, so everyone's got about 2 months to get their ducks in a row -- and get that money for 50 Cent. Or rather, his creditors.

You are not paying for the shoebox, you are paying to live in one of the greatest cities in the world. shyt is the same in every top city, from London to Hong Kong to Paris to San Francisco. People from all over the world want to move to these cities, particularly well educated people looking for high paying jobs thereof the prices.
