Yep, he transitioned and seems that he is well accepted by cacs, despite all the “harsh realities and aggression” in his records. I actually know some suburban cacs that love him... wouldn’t buy a record, but love him, and his persona, like dude isn’t some sociopath ruthless thug, lol
Gawdfuvva has always been charismatic, his a extroverts, extrovert

Dude was never a bad rapper. In fact he had a lot of gems on Power of the Dollar. He changed his style up for sure, and started conciously trying to make more catchy records. But he was never wack. Definitely not on the level of a lot of the people he was in the same league as in terms of sales numbers, and he was often compared in mainstream media to cats that were well above him (like Jay and Nas, etc.) but 50 was always a solid rapper. He was just very one-dimensional and his gimmick got old eventually.

Power of the Dollar, GRODT, and The Massacre were all solid albums.

he sold more records in his prime than all of your favorite rappers of the past 7 years
his prime done

Even JayZ said 50 inspired him

He's a bad rapper NOW. There's no denying GRODT or the impact of G-Unit back in the day, but he's been trash for 5+ years. Looks like he traded out 1 skill for another :francis:

Back in '01 I never would've guessed that 50 would be able to have the charisma that he displays in interviews. Breh really knows how to hit that switch.
50 cent is somewhat charming (pause). Some people just have that skill.
"Met Al Gore and his wife in them first class seats
She said she ain't like rap until she met me
You gotta understand I'm a charming young man
A whole lot has changes since I went hand to hand"
