Can yall make a list of the rap lyrics we supposed to be retroactively outraged over? And the artists we supposed to "hold accountable" for speaking on foul shyt in their music?
I been told on here that everything Ross ever rapped about is fake, but now we supposed to convict him over a couple bars. You can see how this get confusing.

The same 50 Cent has a song where he’s mocking Game and his sister for being molested By their father.
Ain't nothing to defend. I don't condone what he talking about and don't fukk with the song.
That said trying to cancel artists for a couple bars that's over 10 years old is corny as fukk. Especially coming from a dude that's a convicted domestic abuser, that's been accused of rape by the same woman. And that's got multiple other abuse and sexual assault allegations against him.
Let's be real. 50 Cent don't give a damn about domestic violence or sexual assault. He don't care about offensive lyrics. And his stans only pretending to care because 50 don't like Ross. They the first to forgive Eminem for his racist tapes, and the first to excuse his countless bars about rape and abusing and killing women. They worship 50 for really living his lyrics, except the ones about smacking women around, apparently those was just made up

No it's the same reason we don't scrutinize Redman and Tyler the creator lyrics, comedians make rape jokes all the time . If Ross said he's just an entertainer and his raps weren't real then nobody would care what he says. But you can't be out here claiming you're rapping about your real life then say it's just lyrics when people call you out for it. Almost all of these rappers are a piece of shyt in real life , that's not the point I'm making. Lyrics that are obviously intentionally exaggerated for dramatic effect and shock value are less likely to be taken serious like they're actual confessions. And Em did get lots of flack for his lyrics they bush administration was trying to ban him and all the letter people. Recently tik tok was trying to cancel him but I digress. Most of us not defending the lyrics. Just pointing out 50 the last person that got room to speak on this subject, and it's obvious it ain't coming from a place of concern for women.
