THAT IS BILLBOARD BREH

Im talking billboard 100 not top tv songs.

Name one artist frm that era that has and get back to me. Internet killed the video star and everybody was affected by it. Only cats still eating from that period are the super elite ones, JT, Jay Z, Kanye etc, etc.......everybody else is washed.

50 was the biggest at a point but he not eating. Fat joe and Remy Ma had a hit before 50 :lolbron:

Remy Ma just came home, people are going to promote her because they want to see her win

50 rarely loses, is situation is people were tired of seeing him win. And he still is. Dude has transitioned to into tv heavy anyway. Every music artist always wants to put out music. But when you find a lane and happen to be behind one of the most popular shows on TV, you can't really look at that as a lost. And that Kannan MIXTAPE manged to get him a gold plague for a song that was released for free. Call it what you want, an L or whatever, but if that man is losing then who the hell is winning out here?

Remy Ma not even a global "icon" like Curtis is, shyt not even Fat Joe sold as many records and he got a platinum plaque in 2016. i'm almost sure these kids can't even name one Terror Squad member or a song.

Just saying his fall off is more of a sign of the times then it is in regards to him personally. IMO at least

nah i don't think it's because of that, if it was then Fat Joe wouldn't be able to get a platinum plaque. people just not checking for him musically. that's why he ain't putting nothing out. he's scared to do lower numbers as expected. plain and simple. that's why he's doing TV shows, he knows his time is up on a musical level.

50 pretty much fizzled out with the Massacre. The music he released in the latter part of his career is ignored for a reason, and the same goes for why he is never mentioned in anybodies top whatever list.

Was All the way up a hit? And I mean a real hit. Because these days, hits are made by repetition, not necessarily because songs are that good.

And he has put out countless of songs, mixtapes, albums, and for the most he does alright, its just there is no machine behind him like it was with interscope. He has no one to push those local radio spins. Which is what you need to really push your music out there. That No Romeo and Juliet is a bonifide hit right or wrong? The Kannan mixtape got high praises. Power is number 1. He is relevant today, and his music still connects, he has no backing. That his biggest hurdle.

All the way up was a hit in every definition. It even went top 40. Chance is independent and charting. I doubt radio plays his shyt too much either. It is mostly 50 fans give him high praise.
