Curtis failed to follow the rules he so loudly trumpets.

Rule 18 of the 48 Laws of Power clearly states "do not build fortresses to protect yourself" "isolation is dangerous"

When he was on top of the world selling he created a lot of negative energy that isolated him from the industry. Famous for In Da Club, he actually never was in the club and never did he mingle. He burned bridges without regard and didn't replace them with new ones.
He figured out his mistake and tried to make peace with Fat Joe and the Lox but it was too late and his efforts were transparent.
He's completely washed up

Ehh your point is valid... it is absolutely true. However I would say 50 had a great 5 year run. Its kind of saying mohammed ali, or george foreman, or evander holyfield failed for whatever reason... when really they didnt they had their time and then time moved past them.

I mean at this point only people who legitimately have had a longer run than 5 is probably jay-z, maybe LL, maybe Drake, maybe Kanye... and none of them were as completely dominant at their peak as 50...

and thats out of all rappers EVER there are like probably at least 500 major label rappers during the last 35 years... and 50 is in the top 5 as far as a commercial run... how is that a fail?

Kayne is a producer and kept up with the times.

He crossed over to pop culture unlike 50. Had nothing to do with being an island and more to do with being involved in the culture as it changed.

Yeezy reinvents himself every album. Recently he hasn't really reinvented himself on his lyrical content but he def does his production and sonic sound.

Yeezy also has a different image. 50 carries around the image of being a business savvy gangster. So he's limited in what he can put out. Kanye isn't held by that limitation.

I agree 100%. During his prime I hardly seen him or Gunit collaborate with other rappers. It was like he was anti everything that wasn't Gunit.
