I disagree. Ratson might've had issues with them, but I don't think that's what motivated the diss or the song, overall. If you think about it, on that track, Ratson dissed every rapper from his area of queens who had a current buzz at the time. This leads me to suspect that the ultimate purpose behind the decision to produce such a song was to recycle the gimmick of How to Rob as way to maintain and exploit 50's "naming names" shtick which he had pioneered.
Ja, Lost Boyz, and Onyx were just objects he could use to carry out said goal due to their popularity, and all of them being from the same area of Queens. I doubt 50 had any real animosity towards any of those individuals. Though, I could be wrong. At least in the case of Ja, all the evidence I have seen strongly suggest that they had no personal problems prior to this track. The way Ja explains it, he was completely bewildered to why 50 even came at him. He further states that when he met up with Ratson in ATL and pressed him about the record, 50 replied by saying, “It’s nothing personal. It’s just me trying to get out there. The record’s already out there, it’s not going anywhere. Nothing we can do about it.”

False....G-Unit as a crew didn't even exist at this point in time. He asked what many of us from our crew questioned..."Why was Cheeks the only one who didn't show up to Tah's wake?" It was a lot of shyt that was going on at that time.
Um not really, I don't know when G Unit actually came about whether in 2000 or 99, but he,Bang Em, and his crew for sure had beef with LB ,them nikkas was rejects and to be honest why Cheeks wasn't at Tye's wake isnt his business. They really ain't mess with him like that.
