I've always been critical of both him and Hov for rapping about smoking weed when they don't.

If Rick Ross just had that dumb throwaway line about Noriega owing him favors, I wouldn't care. Every rapper does. The problem is not only is his whole persona absolutely playing pretend, his actual life is the antithesis of what a "street" rapper is supposed to be about.

So, if I would have grabbed some rich ginger kid from the suburbs in the most affluent part of the country, wrote, and recorded a hardcore rap album akin to Rick Ross's, as long as it sounded good to YOU. One's not only a C.O. but even a bigger fabrication than Vanilla Ice. If he was rapping about his life about being a diligent, award winning C.O., which he was, and made music you personally liked I'd buy you the head phones.
