thats what im saying! this should be every real emcee's default mindset. if KRS was up there and said the same thing, i wouldnt be mad at him. LL was an innovator, and hes REAL fukking important to the history of not only def jam but hiphop itself. dude was an animal! yea he made some missteps and a few corny moves but nobodys perfect. LL did nothing wrong50 can't hold LL's jock strap. Every rapper is supposed to think he's the best.
No one set more trends than LL Cool J he has credentials.
GOAT he needs to see royalty off that abbreviation. I see it all over the place and never crediting LL.
As well as never been defeated in a battle.
50 Cent is living the euphoria of a true Bedbuck he has now been placed by "media elites" to be the USA Noel Clarke and make shows that cause degeneration and violence within the black community. Irv (RIP) said '50 cent was saved by the devil, he is an agent of chaos' I mean all his shows and music is about gangsters and crime. I think the black youth need to know there is glory outside "gangsterness" stop derailing your success chasing scripted presentations by multi millionaire gangster voyeurs. LL Cool J is at least a break from all that.

A STRONG argument can be made that both Kool Moe Dee and Canibus beat him.
Aside from that, LL saying that he is "the most important rapper ever" has credibility. He is the first international solo superstar in rap. Probably the first to really take it to another level with a clothing endorsement, movies, and tv star. Def Jam was built on his success. He is not the GOAT, but he may actually be the Blueprint.
