Well of course he is going to say that.

In reality though, he is envious that he still has a music career.

Fif killed a lot of careers, but he wasn't able to stop Ross's momentum a decade ago when they started beefing. If anything, Ross got hotter after the beef. And dude went on to make some of his best shyt after that. But on the flip, that's when 50's career started to slide. That definitely bothers him. When half of Queens was calling 50 a snitch, we all just kept listening to the music because it was dope. It's the same with Ross. If dude took a job as a CO, that's his business. That doesn't have anything to do with the quality of his music. He's in entertainment, and he's dope at what he does. They both were. But none of these guys are who they say they are on records. The diploma and photo leaked and Ross said that his face was photoshopped by nerds and it NEVER happened and it's all faked.

50's decline in sales had nothing to do with "The era", his sales declined because it was inevitable, people got tired of seeing and hearing him and the fukkery all day every day, his sound and shtick got stale.

I don't even need to list the rappers who sold stupid amounts of records during "the era" after the early 2000's (Lil Wayne, Kanye, TI, Jeezy, etc...). Ross's career didn't begin and end in 2006, lol, in his 13-14 year career he hasn't sold more records than "The Massacre" did in 2005-2006. It's indisputable.

And I only bring up sales because I'm sure that's how someone like 50 determines if he should take your rap career seriously.

Because he was a superstar rapper in an era where people were selling records, 50 has sold more than tons of legendary rappers, y’all 50 stans keep bringing an album up from 15+ years ago in an argument about music in 2019
