I think it's the other way round. 50 said years ago Banks doesn't speak to him.
Even in the interview he said Yayo would come back and apologize if he did something wrong but Banks just distances himself

yeah that's wack and shows 50's weakness
if he could show props to the extended family, it would make his shyt (and the shyt he created) look stronger
but he is not big enough to do that, so he diminishes his own brand (and what he helped build) by framing it negatively
