It's not the same prestige, and I also think boxing is more for men and UFC more for boys.
My little brother can name a few UFC fighters, but he can't name a single boxer. My dad however can name a lot of boxers, but no UFC fighters.
Not saying that only grown ups/young adults watch boxing and only young adults/teenagers watch UFC but the probability is probably heavily skewed.

A boxer like Marquez just got more than 10 times more than Anderson Silva the biggest fighter in the sport gets for 1 fight.
However I wonder why the fukk top UFC fighters get 3-400k when the PPV is 50-60 0bucks..
