The guy is KIND OF a leech on hip-hop culture.

I mean he openly admits that he doesn't do nearly half the stuff he raps about and he talks about how easily he tries to market stuff towards a hungry hip-hop audience.

The guy isn't "hip-hop" or as hip-hop as he says he is. Hes a capitalist and if you see him as this uber entertainer...you lose out on seeing him for who he really is.

Its hard to respect him as someone who is sincere and see him as someone who is this business opportunist.








oh, and his two favorite words: Actual & Aggressive. Lol

NO DOUBT...but as an entertainer, the guy is disingenuous.

I mean it depends what you hope to gain from him.

50's insights SEEM brilliant...but hes not that deep.

50 is a brand. He doesn't have any actual skills besides that. If he wasn't 50 Cent, Curtis wouldn't be doing much. He is merely a face and a figure head. The average person isn't getting anything out of listening to him unless you're an entertainer yourself. Real business guys aren't paying attention to 50 Cent cause he doesn't actually DO anything.

Won't debate you on whether or not he's a "real" capitalist. You have a guy who essentially "does" nothing making millions of dollars by endorsing things he doesn't make.
