Its called star power used to sway consumers....
SO Jay Z, Puff, and Dr Dre arent businessmen?Same thing.
Entertainers that sell things don't get my acknowledgement as businessmen.
The most they can do is invest in things. They're not creating opportunities.
What monies are you referring to?All they do is spend their money based on their name.
2. Who cares how much money he has than nas?
3. His relevancy in hip-hop is all that matters.
NO DOUBT...but as an entertainer, the guy is disingenuous.
I mean it depends what you hope to gain from him.
50's insights SEEM brilliant...but hes not that deep.
50 is a brand. He doesn't have any actual skills besides that. If he wasn't 50 Cent, Curtis wouldn't be doing much. He is merely a face and a figure head. The average person isn't getting anything out of listening to him unless you're an entertainer yourself. Real business guys aren't paying attention to 50 Cent cause he doesn't actually DO anything.
(Almost) 50 Minutes With 50 Cent - YouTube
He speaks on everything connected with his life including SMS promotions and why he took on the job, Eminem not being active outside music, past beefs and fall outs, his secrets of marketing, partnering with World Food Program & Feeding America, not liking some of his uncles, falling out with Floyd Mayweather but still remaining friends with him, his time at Columbia Records & what he learned from it, marketing his mixtapes, Diddys contribution to Hip-Hop, recording tons of songs for his new album Street King Immortal, different climates in Hip-Hop, missing Chris Lighty, his future projects & what he wants from his next chapter of life, interview with Oprah and more

that part about the dude in the Bentley and the Dodge was ill
presentation is huge
Same thing.

I get exactly what you're saying, but I think other people are trying to say this..50 ain't create shyt.
I keep telling ya'll.
50 gets the opportunities brought to him. The only difference between him and his peers is that he NEVER says No.
Thats it.
Dude is a product of the moment passing off his wisdom as objective. Its not. Dude got really lucky only because of his image, not because of his business acumen.
He gets brought these opportunities with deals LONG created and all he has to do is put his face and image behind it.
He's like a rap fashion model.
And listen to you talking about "he made it!"
Nope. I'm not giving him credit. Let me know when a non-entertainer does it.
HES A fukkING ENTERTAINER. What you expect? You going to follow his model?
You goddamn herb. Dude is NOTHING without what 50 Cent stands for. He's EASILY replaceable. He doesn't make money unless his face is out there being paraded around.
Let me know when he is an irreplaceable asset to an industry. Like I said. I'm not impressed when these ENTERTAINERS brag about their business acumen and expect us to start'ing them and being in awe of their successes. This nikka could be on the front of a wheaties box and ya'll would be talking about how much of a "business man" he is.
Same thing.

50 my niqqa but this over explanation of everything doesn't help the art. This niqqa breaks down everything as some thought out business plan. Like when he was talking about why he did weed songs on GRODT. Just leave this sh*t to the imagination brehs.
Niqqas dont wanna hear there gangsta rappers being all intelligent. Really takes from the art as I say.
I miss crazy, ignorant fif![]()
