I fukk with 50 but man he needs to holla at someone like David Chase or David Simon (Sopranos/The Wire) to find good writers.

All of his shows have been bad to mid

He used Terrance Winter for that bum ass biopic of his a sit was terrible. They even made fun of it o the Sopranos.

Christopha: We can stay in, I got that 50 cent movie in the car, they were giving it away for free at the car wash. :mjlol:

Dame.

They have two mainstream terms for this now.

Sneak dissin
Cap

Stop the silly shyt and play the role of the guy. Who was a visionary. To get out of debt.

Dame problem is dame thinks being humbled is a bad thing.
When you use this time.
to get eyes off you for a comeback. Then comeback and restore all the eyes on you.

People in here acting as if 50 can match the authentic feel that Dame gave his Paid in Full movie. Knock it off.

He needs to tap in with the guys who created The Wire. Oh and don't use LaLa in any of the casting.

Funny how dudes like Cam were quiet as mice the entire time Alpo was back in Harlem. Cam soft azz would not Executive Produce this if Alpo was still around.

Lala will for sure be in this...

If he has the right writers and actors it could be good, but outside of the first 4 seasons of Power and the first 2 for Raising Kanan, Im often left dissapointed in some way by his projects. I'm honestly am not looking forward to any new projects of his, because they're all the same.

I will at least check out the first episode, like I usually do.

The real question here is...how Dame don't own these rights in the first place?

for one why would he be entitled to them anyway ? aint like that movie was made by him alone

and what difference does it even make lol. them rights aint worth shyt. not only did the movie not do well commercially, neither did BMF... that blunder knocked off some valuation as well

It's less about that than the fact Dame always crows about ownership, and I woulda thought he would own the rights to a story about Harlem nikkas

Even if he once did, the tax payers of New York took that ownership just like RD and anything else worth anything that was under his name. :yeshrug:

Don’t know how movie rights work but Dame was one of many producers, roc a fella one of 3 production houses, and Weinstein’s company the distributor.

Dame is such a lame dude.

Breh is acting like he invented a real life story about some quite famous drug dealers. It’s like I make a series about Al Capone and some random cat starts crying cause he made a movie about him several decades ago :snoop:

Dude didn’t even write or direct it, he was an exec. Just cause they let your attention seeking ass put your name all over posters and talk about it like it’s your story, doesn’t mean that it is.

I probably won’t watch more than one episode cause everything 50 is involved in is temu status. But they should’ve done this when the Alpo was still out. So both alpo and azie could be involved instead of just azie

Looks like this show will really be showcasing some of the other street legends, infamous individuals from back then.

To be honest 50 could go on for an infinite amount of seasons with the amount of NYC hustlers from the 80s

Bro really is the Stan Lee of super-drug dealers, lol.

And Dame is my guy but nahhhhhhhh, jealousy is right underneath stealing for me in "ultimate goofy" shh!t, that clip of him sounded like pure hate and jealousy, that's corny.
