But I find it ironic how a guy who built his legacy off of not giving a fukk and saying whatever he wanted regardless of what people thought is now hyper-sensitive when it comes to how everyone receives his work.
He's always been insecure that's why he has the slim shady alter ego to shield the sensitivity. Once that went away he really became this common white guy who can't take criticism.

I’ve always been confused as to why Em thinks Relapse is so bad. It’s one of his best albums.

I do not understand people saying this at all. That album was panned when it came out and people re-wrote history for it. shyt was trash then, and trash now

:ohhh: I was seriously wondering earlier if he was able to deal with his fame and the way people attacked his work through his drug use. Like, he always had this problem and it became amplified once he went sober because he could no longer mask his sensitivity with the drugs.

Relapse was the last time Em sounded organic and true to himself .... don’t know why he listened to people saying that shyt was wack it was exactly the sound and lyrical quality he had always done ....he literally ruined his music every since he took that artistic turn ...the dude is now the caricature he used to mock :snoop:

So insidious....so demonic
:blessed:

From what I remember, the only "real" general consensus criticism was the shytty we made you single and the accents
