Got nothin' against 50 at all. It's honestly just not a good track. I mean some middle/h.s kids might like it, maybe some women, but it's just not that good. Dre made the beat too? Flabby and sick.
I'm starting to believe Dre is selling his name for production credits.

Lets not prop up figures for past achievements. He is just a man, and like thousands of others in all forms of art - directors, actors/actresses, authors..etc - he may simply no longer have "it." I think he just rides the coat tails of his younger self nowadays. He hasn't put out anything near deserving of fame in fukkin' years.

50 and a team breh? This guy is like a Silverback roaming bewildered in the forest at this point. He can't keep a soul around him. I think it is one of the worst part's of Hip Hop. In most other genres - and even sub-genres within those - an artist can continue too do what made them famous. It's like many trains can come and go from the same train station.
In Hip Hop it often feels like there is only one train running, and an artist has to contaminate their own well of artistic integrity, the stuff that made them famous, just to try and stay relevant. Portishead for example, could drop an album tomorrow sounding exactly like how they first sounded all those years ago when they broke. And fans will love it and support. 50 can't do that, cause Hip Hop fans won't support another GRDT. Which sucks for him, cause it means he can't truly make the music he should really be making. And we get forced soulless garbage like this.

i want 50 beats to improve but not every thing he does needs to be that. you should download the lost tapes, i know you haven't heard it. that was him doing his best "this generation rap" as close as possible
50 IS trying to "basically do what every body else is doing". The problem is he has no idea how to do it and then ends up with bullshyt "club songs" that never get played in the club.
