    The late 80s/early 90s UK Hip-Hop scene was the only other area that held its own with the east and west coast they had a ridiculous amount of dope emcees, djs and producers DJ Red Alert used play the shyt out of UK artists in New York cause it was too good to ignore shyt they were the first to mix hip-hop with house a style ny jocked for years
