"Yea Fif is something else man. I mean look at how he came in the game. But his strengths were his weaknesses. That same fukk everybody attitude that people loved on his way up alienated him once he got there. I always say it but Fif would have gone way further had he collabed w/everyone he beefed with.

Obv as a businessman hes pretty much hit the top of the mountainu could argue can he go any further? this dude has fukking drinks on shelves, makes movies and his albums will still sell well world wide
the boy 50 never went anywhere![]()

But given all the false starts he's had w/his latest project its clear he hasn't done everything he wants musically. The only beef that netted him any $$$/push was he shyt with Ja... all his other beefs were net negatives to his career, in the context of artistry/legacy.

i can agree with that, even tho his last couple albums aint been on the same level as his older sh!t i think he has still got a couple classics up his sleeve ..![]()
It goes further than that. Yayo really broke it down perfectly.I feel the same way. He just needs to line himself up with some different producers and start spitting over some hot beats. He's fall out is simple, he lost his hungriness and the fact that he's not spitting with anyone from G-unit. Basically, 50 lost his creativity space to make hit records like he did before.
I think when he was spitting with his fellow members, they made everyone go harder on the track. Banks and Yayo can save 50 lyrically wise, so I'm not sure why he's chillin on bringing back the original G-unit, Banks and Yayo.
"You know what's crazy? It's like when we didn't have any money, things were better," explained the man who 50 Cent once said was taken care of in his will in an interview with MTV News. "When everybody got money, it's like things just went downhill, so it's like, I dunno, egos," he surmised.

50 was the real life Omar Little
Fif is a psychopath.
But you can tell he really meant what he was saying.

Trackmasters wanted him. But he was still signed to JMJ. “When I got on Columbia I had to give Jam Master Jay $50,000,” he says. “It was a business situation. I learned how to make the records, so I don’t regret it now, but $50,000 was a lot of money back then for a nikka fresh out the hood. I’m thinking it’s cheaper to kill him. I give a nikka 10 cent, blow his fukkin’ head off. But I said, ‘Let me do what I’m supposed to do.’ If I ain’t take in the things he showed me then, it wouldn’t be possible for me to make a dollar right now. So I regret even having those thoughts run across my mind.”

You can only push so much. Again, had he collaborated withhis falling off had nothing to do with beefing. his problem was acting as if he could boss jimmy iovine around by calling himself curtis "interscope" jackson. that and producing terrible music. as soon as he stopped selling like he used to, jimmy showed him who's the boss. had he maintained a good relationship like dre and em did, 'm sure interscope would have continued to push him.
You can only push so much. Again, had he collaborated with
Ross
Wayne
Kanye
Camron
Jadakiss
He would probably have dropped a couple more discs by now and still be popping. His relationship with Jimmy Iovine/Interscope is the result of his mediocre content. More people want to hear 50 playign nice than being the bad guy
I mean you said it yourself.... they still push Dre and his last project floppedthey kept pusing eminem even though he fell off and they are pushing dre to this day even though they could have treated him like they do fifty now after that aftermath compilation flopped. 50 cent got the suge knight treatment because he turned out to be a liability and not an asset. his beefs, especially the one with the game, might have been part of the problem, but his mistake was to let his relationships with dre and jimmy deteriorate by being disrespectful and not playing his position,
And 50 could be Jimmy's best friend (like Dre) and still flop
