Keep telling yourself that this dude was all hype.

Kept the streets fed with grimey mixtapes and the execs happy with his albums.

Dude a legend.

"Don't call me to feature, I don't wanna rap witcha,
I brought my knife in the club, I came to scrap witcha,
Got a hiss when I walk, a bop when i walk,
You now rockin wit the grimiest nikka in New York,
50, aka Ferrari, F-50, aka 50 Cent, now fukk wit me
Cut a fiend's son for fukkin with my product,
As a young buck I probably got your house party shot up, BLAAT! :bustback:"
:whew:

There´s something special when you hear an official dude spittin them harsh realities but stan a CO y´all :bryan:

He blew up off the strength of his mixtapes and had a huge buzz in the tri state before ever signing to a major but let the revisionist history cacs on the coli tell it and he only blew up thanks to eminems fanbase and jimmys magical machine where he can push a button and anybody he wants to becomes the biggest rap star in the world

No one denies 50 was that nikka.

But he made some career choices during the Cuetis/Vitamin Water/ Kanye West era that had a hugely negative impact.

Then his squabbles with his own crew.

The list of fukkery goes on.

Just calling a spade a spade here.

I can respect diff opinions or diff tastes I was talking about those that act like from JMJ to Em to Dre to Ivine was all luck...you get me.

Side note. Maybe it´s the stan in me...but hearing grimey siht from a guy that lived that life makes it that much better :ohlawd:

My nikka, Get Rich was the first album I ever bought in my life. 50 was that dude and put out nothing but heat all the way thru his movie soundtrack.

Anyone who says otherwise just couldn't get the appeal.

And I give every 50 project a shot. An unbiased, complete listen.

I'll tell you right now, I wasn't feeling AA. But I really liked 9 Shots and Body Bags, and I hope the Kanan Tape is in line with that sound.
