I hate the sort of logic that I always encounter when 50 cent's career is being evaluated. It's this notion that 50 cent's career only existed within a given time span, just so one can reach a favorable conclusion about his legacy.

Of course, if one only factors in 50's career from 2002 to 05, plus POAD, than a believable argument can be formed about the merits of Curly career, imo at least. However, 50's career didn't end after the mid 2000s making that entire line logic disingenuous if we are to be serious about reaching a consensus on his legacy.

all time ?....nah but going off the top, he might just scrape into my 10 favorites.

from 02 to 05 i don't think i went a day without playing a 50 (Cam'ron also) song, freestyle etc and although i don't have the same attachment to 50 as i do say a Cam i have to put him in there off of the impact he had on me as a young listener.

Definitely top 10. 50 clearly a legend. And the last important NY rapper.

Jay, Nas, 50. These are the only rappers to not be contaminated by the trifecta of annoying rap afficinados. The rap bro. The kufi community. The feminists. They independent minded.
