I know all that but that has nothing to do with ol boy talking about "he can't pay his bills = he's broke". Especially when an article is saying the exact opposite of that, in graphic detail.

But like I said, people are going to throw logic out the window because 50 more or less made people hate him. It is what it is.

Fred.

Unless someone can prove he has at least some respectable degree in law, I don't really take anyone on the Coli's opinion seriously on this matter. That's no disrespect to you either, but there's people on both sides wikipedia'ing some shyt together to give their opinion on a complicated financial case. Until this thing has an outcome, which can take years, there's not much sense to be made.

I disagree. None of those dude was in a place to help his career at that point. He got more from dissing them than by collaborating with them. It added more to his "I don't give a fukk" image that helped him sell so many records. Them nikkas would've eventually took shots at him like they did Jay anyway.
What did he get by dissing them that he wouldn't have got with collaborating with them? Did dissing them get him extra sales? No, if anything it turned people off from him. It's not either or, people buy records from multiple artists. Did it get him radio spins or writing credits on other people's discs? No, of course not. As long as the people he was beefing with were selling records, which they all were, him beefing with them was a net L financially. :heh: @ beefing with Wayne instead of jumping on Carter 3, how is that a win :russ:

50 has always marketed himself with beef.

"The business is entertainment, and what entertains the customers is the sight of blood"

He's been about that since How to Rob and the Power of the Dollar.

It worked for him. After GRoDT he should have cut that off and worked with all the big names, but that was all he knew.
How did it work for him? You yourself are saying he should have changed to a collaborative strategy after GRoDT. Beef is not what helped GRoDT move, most of the people who bought that disc had no idea 50 was beefing with Ja... they bought it for the singles.

50 never had enough money to hide. He spends a lot.

Even if he made 25 million a year since 2003, that's 300 million. You dummies would think he's worth 300 as if he didn't spent 1$ or had to pay taxes. I believe Jay and Diddy worth have a Billion. They may have earned close to half, but you spend money. A lot of money. Private jets, cars, vacation, mortgages, up kept, staff, security, shopping at LV and Gucci, every hotel and restaurant is top notch. . That money goes fast. God bless you if your accountants forgets to give themselves a raise early and often.

Tyler Perry was like WTF with Forbes telling people he made 70 million last year, but not tell how much he spent to make that money. Broke people don't know sometimes you have to spend 25 to make 30. That's really only 5 net profit, not 30 profit.

:martin:

And hiding money!!!:russ::mjlol:

You couldn't get a million dollars out this country if had to. How would you do it? Paypal, bank wire, in a duffel bag on a plane? Our greedy as government has their nose all in the everyday person's finances. Now if you're Wall St / Hedgefund Guru with the right connects, they might allow you. The Bushes and Clinton and Obama have reduced taxes so much on the wealthy that there's no reason for them to think about hiding or moving money.

50 been broke, his ego and all the shytting on people about money and sell makes impossible to humble himself like a Antoine Walker and tell the truth to help people. He's just playing these games to save face with the few Stans he has left.

Antoine went thru it so 50 and other wouldn't have to.

damn i remember homie from the NBA Live 99 cover, i had that shyt for PC shyt was classic :banderas:

I agree. But beef is what got him on the scene.

"Most anticipated"? By who and what metric? It wasn't even a single. Candy Shop did the heavy lifting on that album. Plus everything went downhill from that album.... nikkas got tired of the same old gimmicks. Thats why he had to get desperate on Curtis and piggy back on Yeazle. Now 50 can't even sell out a pub in the Irish countryside.

But on the real, anyone would tell you that once word got out that he was dissing all them nikkas on the same song, Piggybank was what people wanted to hear most on that album. Ask anyone on the board that's old enough to remember.
