On some hip hop shyt. Probably the two most hated rappers on the coli, but if you are a real hip hop fan you should most of their collections or at least heard the material. Jay has more albums but I included 50s mix tapes because they are all original music anyway and can be considered albums.

I didn't include gunit mix tapes bc then it would be unfair lol
But based on solo albums/mix tapes I don't see how anyone can argue jay has the better discography. 50 is consistent

Jay-Z's music has no feeling...He has no "stomp on a man out" music, he has no "feel my pain" music, he has no "let's get ready to murder somebody" music...Dude has the same attitude on almost every song...

You have to be a big Jay-Z fan to listen to any of his albums from start to finish...I just skip to the singles because that's Jay at his best...

Just because you see something "amazing" about Jay Z (or whichever rapper you idolize) it doesn't mean everybody sees that same spark...

Objectively, I believe Jay-Z is in the GOAT status discussion, but in my honest opinion, I really believe without the financial success, Jay-Z's catalog is not GOAT status...
