It's the same basic attitude that the alt-lite uses to bring people deeper down the rabbit hole. Most of that crew are all grifters in for the money, not the actual alt-right people which is just out and open nihilism, but they see the writing on the wall.This is probably the most accurate take on TLR. A younger demographic with paltry real world experience and surface level political and social consciousness. Easy pickings for online radicalizing. And as much as we crave "fukkery" on this site, the yearning for acceptance via daps, platinum threads, and other forms of attention/validation is partially to blame here too.
Means fewer people willing to check obvious bullshyt at the gate over fear of not looking cool or "down".
It's basically high school without the books (or gym class considering what half those cats prolly look like offline).
Online it's "stupid to care about things" and you see that all over entire sections of this forum. Caring makes you a p*ssy, makes you a woman, makes you a homo, makes you a race traitor (they don't use that explicit language but we all see it). It's all jokes. It's all funny haha shyt meant to just pass off any attempts to take life seriously as a bunch of meaningless drivel. shyt scares me sometimes man, reading the profound lack of empathy a lot of people on here express in an avenue that they absolutely would not do in a face to face interaction. Reading all the HYON shyt like we aren't a species that's built to cooperate and interact with one another in meaningful ways to have a full life.
It's basically just saying you don't give a fukk about your own humanity as long as you can spite others or wallow in the suffering of others. It's fine and funny when shyt is irony, when you can grasp that it's meant to be a joke. But I genuinely don't get that feeling from a lot of this shyt.
Of course they are. They're all in it for the money, they know when, not if, people finally see them for who they are like they did with Milo and Spencer and the ones before this current crop, they'll lose popular legitimacy and any ability to use the Koch brothers money to enrich themselves by peddling this shyt.
They've all sold their souls long ago, at this point might as well just try and wring as much money out of it as possible like the feckless cowards they all are.
i think in some countries they have laws in place about showing suspects faces before certain legal steps. i remember after dominique strauss khan was arrested in the US and pictures of his arrest were uploaded people in france were upset because there they would put a bag on your head or something. it doesnt make a lot of sense to me personally. also i do question whether they would do it if the shooter was non-whiteWhy the fukk did they blur his fukking face?!?

The whole city is in a daze right now. Everyones doing what they can to show love to the Muslim community, food and blood drives etc.
