Immigration still being some kind of boogeyman in 2023 is crazy. Like what the fukk folks been doing the last 30-40 years?

Truth is, immigration has been a factor for so long, that at this point we're not going to have a dramatic turn the opposite direction in our lifetimes. People got to accept that, and again, folks have had a long time to accept that. The longer you wait for something to be done about it the more you fall behind your competition.

Half the country. Half. You're not going to turn that around overnight. You can't send back 100 million people who are so intertwined and responsible for so much critical infrastructure in the job force already and at positions of expertise and power. That won't fly with with a major company. Even the military is full of immigrants and most people who join the military are immigrants now. That includes the people making and engineering the tech for military.

Whoever is saying they can reverse or fight this are lying out their ass for people's support because they're desperate.

What people need to be aware of are the grifters who are playing off of immigration. They'll ask to get money and support from everyone so they can come together and "fight" against it. It ain't happening and all they're doing is taking your money and making big claims that they're doing nothing about (because they can't do anything about it). If you hear people talk about it and they're some podcast, politician, streamer, etc. and they need you to tune in, vote, support, etc. - you're their cash cow.

Country - a nation with its own government, occupying a particular territory.

Colony - a country or area under the full or partial political control of another country, typically a distant one, and occupied by settlers from that country.

The debate then is what counts as America...FBA takes it back to 1619...we learn about the Mayflower and Jamestown in school as well...if you want to stick to a strict definition, sure it's 1776, but those ppl were Americans long before 1776

1) America not controlling immigration to whre it's diverse. Nearly half of all undocumented immigrants are Mexican. Do you know the ethnic disaster that will create once they become citizens? Many of them dont know much about black history and I've actively seen many of them trying to re-write black american history recently. They want to re-create latin American IN america. Basically black folks living dirt poor with 0 rights.
2) American not righting the wrongs of the past before inviting all these immigrants. There should have already been some reparations for native americans and black americans by now.
3) need immigration from other countries outside of the usual India, China, and central America.

I believe immigrants are used as a smoke screen to cover for a lack of well paying jobs in the US. When I was in College in the 90s, I worked retail during the summers and part time during the year. The majority of my co-workers were adults supporting their families off full-time hours with bonuses/commissions. Besides Footlocker and Gap, all my shoes and clothing were purchased from adults workers. My parents bought all our automobiles, televisions, and appliances from adult workers as well. Today, nearly all non-managerial retail jobs are part-time and minimum wage. Adults today simply have fewer job options. It use to be, "If you didn't go to college....". Now its, "If you didn't go to college and major in STEM...."

I'm native too. American racial demographics has drastically changed since the Civil Rights movement. It's never been as diverse as this. White Americans accounted for 80% of the population in 1980. They are 60% now.

People suspect that the 2020 Census was inaccurate (Due to COVID) and the total white population is actually 53 to 55%

But native born Americans ain't having kids anymore due to insane cost of living.

I been making that argument that STEM is used to keep all other essential fields with low wages and no social mobility, while artificially raising the cost of living.

Those Tech Layoffs happening right now are serious; so serious, that some people are leaving the 'T' from STEM to do something else.

oh i thought you meant roots roots....like before california used to be mexico lol. on that note, people forget that what is now the USA, wasn't all established at the same time. first it was the original 10ish colonies.... the west didn't come into the picture til hundreds of years later.
