I bought this earlier in the year and now they've brought it back. I'm gonna add the two extra years onto the two I got. All new retail games get 20% off for your membership so full priced $60 games are $48. You'd have to buy 5 games to break even in two years. I guess it helps that I'm an Elite Plus member so I get free two day shipping on anything I buy but even if you aren't this is a good deal.

Eh, semi intriguing but then when I think about it I never pay the $60 for a new game and I don't buy that many games any more.

Just Game Fly.
No thanks. I want to play games on my own terms nor have to rush through them because if I don't I'm wasting money. If i can buy new games for $48 and sell them for $35-$40 with trade in deals then Gamefly ain't worth bothering with.

Hell Wolfenstein had a promo where I got $20 in reward certs for buying it. that effectively lowered the price to $28 and I can get more than that back trading it in or selling it. Most of the mainstream new games at Best Buy have at least $10-pre-order promo bonuses for them meaning they only cost $38 all things considering.

I'm probably going to make a stop at BB and get in on this after work tomorrow. The deal is too good to pass up. My Black Friday/Holiday shopping will easily cover the $60 and then some.

You crazy...Game fly pays for its self a 10x times over . You spend (waste) more money going the route you take. Keep banking on getting $40 in trade in deals lol.

Gamefly cost less than buying games but at the same time for someone like me it's an inconvenience. I work full time and mostly game on the weekends and even then not consistently. I can go several weeks not playing anything. Paying that monthly sub for Gamefly is a total waste to me because I could go a month playing nothing at all. Gamefly is only a value to people who game a lot, game consistently, and have a lot of free time to play.

maybe 4 years ago I did Gamefly and the turn around was 4-5 days to get a different game and they actually had to have the game you wanted or you'd get something else. You'd burn close to half the month in mailing time for the one at a time plan and the two at a time plan wasn't worth it because splitting playtime between two games slows you down on beating either of them.

I've reached a point where I no longer trade games in that I played and enjoyed anyway. The type of games I trade in are games like Madden, Call of Duty, and Battlefield. If I buy a game like The Last of Us I keep that so a year or two later I can periodically replay it. I collect good games.
