The 215
or maybe people are just addicted to the internet??

the internet is a nonstop troll designed to make you angry and a reaction
you get addicted to the feeling of angst and unhappiness
it distracts you from actually taking action
it interrupts you from any plans you make
instead of working on your own personal problems, it turns you into a curator of everyone's problems
I agree with this the Internet, tv, games, entertainment period accomplishes what you are speaking on but a lot of cats want to do a lot bullshytting when off from work and then complain about why they are why they are where they are.

That's why I really can't fukk with the feminazi movement as a whole. We got bigger issues at hand but street harassment is detrimental to the economy. Imagine how much more money will be wasted for more street harassment cops, jails, courts etc that could be funding upgrading schools, public institutions that will yield more benefits as a whole for society.

They act as if "street harassment" is on the same level as stop and frisk. :camby:

:what: :heh:
This is what I was talking about in the other thread.
So there can be only 1 issue at a time? How do these issues even relate? Who said that it was more important than wages?
I don't think the two have anything to do with one another. Wages effect everyone and is a major problem, harrassment is clearly a womans issue. They can't be compared on the same scale.
Why are you guys so bent on telling women what should concern them when you guys don't have to deal with it? If I speak harrassment is an issue I am automatically agreeing with things like #youoksis or hollaback? Or am I just speaking on the issue? Feel attacked so you attack us and tell us our issues aren't important at all. Instead of focusing who is the real cause of the problem these white women making these types of things. We not making the laws and we don't have that type of influence but its us  I'm not even a feminist but this is ridiculous.

For real though? nikkas can't feed their families AFTER working like slaves but I should give a fukk about a woman getting attention from men? Alright.

Even worse, black men have been taking their own version of street harassment in stride for years, despite literally being blown away by it, actual death, but I should give a fukk about a woman being told to smile. Get the fukk out of here. :camby:

Black women, where was your street harassment movement before white women told you it was okay to be scare of us? :mjlol: Didn't give a fukk about no god damned street harassment. Black women are going to end up as weak and brittle as white women with none of the protection and privilege. Damn what a sad sight to see.

This country fukkING SUCKS brehs! :pacspit:

I'm just ranting before work. I make more than 30k but I'm still broke as hell. Just imagine if I was in the other 50%. But it's all about the bootstraps right? :heh:

Yeah...but look at what you're doing here. You turn your attention from a real issue, and twist into some messy attack on black women all because they dont want to be harassed or bothered on the street while they conduct their daily business. These two issues are separate, and although one has far greater importance than the other, it doesnt make women wanting to not be fukked with every day a meaningless issue that you shouldnt at least appreciate and respect.

In a nutshell this is why we have the economic incoherency in this country that we do. We have these awful internal resentments among poor and middle class people interracially, and intraracially, that keeps us lashing out at one another, and in a perpetual state hostility that never directs itself towards those that have extracted the hell out of our wealth. For black folks this extraction has been going on since forever, but as a whole in the last 30-40 years there has been a hyper concentration of wealth going to the top, which has economically damaged everyone.

So what is the solution to harassment?

*crickets*

What can Black people really do about harassment if we don't control the courts, police and lawmakers first?

Spread awareness to each other...? Let the homies know how cat-calling, or better yet stalking (which is what that awkward black dude in the video was doing) make these women really feel?

For the scale that it needs to be done realistically for it to stop disproportionately affect blacks this can't be thrown in there? :dahell:

For now what can be done, should you do nothing and say nothing?

Ok, what do Black women have as a solution?

You all really can't be this dense, right?

There's a national conversation about Street Harassment but there are multiple racially motivated police killings per month.

There's a national conversation about street harassment but food scarcity affects millions. Worker rights crumbling. Job market fukkED.

It's like not having money for the rent buy you go to the Catholic Charity to lobby to get your Internet bill paid instead.

And you can't even comment on the absurdity of it all without being shouted down. Ask Michael Che.

No one has given a fukk about black male street harassment for DECADES but saying hi to a white woman is a god damned national crisis. Is this the 19th century?
