No doubt that's why I can't take any WWE productions or mentions of WCW seriously because they are just spewing bs. It's funny though because if they say it enough fans under 18 and people who never watched WCW will just simply believe it.

Also the total dismissal they give about TNA being competition is always hilarious.

I can't say I don't take ANY mention of WCW seriously... cause it's pretty much documented that bad business and mismanagement drove them into the ground, and that most of the talent there disliked being there... I can't really dispute that whenever they show that. But when they get into telling that "they stole our stars away" story tho', THAT shyt kills me, LMAO.

Far as TNA... at this point, TNA being competition is way off. They're about the closest but that muhfukka could close its doors anyday the way things are goin'...

They NEVER really want to give WCW credit for having the balls to do what they did. Quite frankly, WCW booked the Hogan/Flair match that Vince never did and I was hyped about that in 1994. I was in the south on vacation and I had my grandmother order it at her house. We was all posted in that fukker...I ALWAYS wanted to see that match and it was a big deal to me in 1994. I watched it early this year after not seeing it for awhile and it was pretty good....they had alot of antics for that match. But of course the WWE/F and Vince almost screwed up not turning Hogan heel. That was a GENIUS move by all involved in WCW. It was perfect. You can't recreate it again. It was one of a kind and everyone marked out for it. But they want to act like the current guy doing Make a Wish foundation pop ups even though he makes $4 milli a year is some big deal.

Got it...

It's very good. Once they get up to the mid-90s, you've pretty much seen it before: Nitro, Bischoff gives away results, wah wah WCW took our stars, Bret Hart screwjob, Attitude Era was great and edgy and made money, won Monday Night Wars, mainstream, multimedia company led by Cena who does mad Make-a-Wish, we're great.

But there is probably the most honesty I've seen in one of these documentaries, because they truthfully say business was bad at a point because their product was bad too. I don't recall them ever saying that as opposed to saying it was because WCW took their guys.

They do cover Owen's death... no mention of the Benoit shyt. A number of 80s guys admit to taking steroids. Was surprised not too much coverage of how vital Austin and Rock were individually (they do specifically cover Sammartino, Andre, Hogan, and Cena... so you'd think they'd do the same for those two). They had a lot of good footage and interviews with older stars, probably some of their last interviews before they passed (ie Albano, Moolah, even SD Jones). Lex Luger lookin' wild sick.

It really makes you appreciate/respect the company and Vince tho'... I don't care what anyone says, most peoples' earliest memories of wrestling were something WWF. The DVD covers all those eras... you'll see at least a quick clip of anyone who was relevant over the years. Well, except you know who.

That's wassup..might just cop that..as a wrestling fan..ITS MANDATORY!
