[TLR Is Mental Poison]

I primarily run protools 10/11 and Logic X on my iMac. Everything else can go on an external to keep my machine happy. I need that performance in my life. 500 GB is plenty if you can train yourself to keep nonessential stuff on the external.

Thats what Im running now on my laptop..... I have my Ubuntu and Windows 7 installed on a 120 GB SSD and then I have all my media either networked on a server or on a regular ~500GB regular drive

I have a work computer at home I wanna do an SSD on..... 500GB tho Id be good with a hundo. I paid $120 for my 120GB like a year and a half ago, Moore's Law is a motherfukker

its not a side grade. the SSD would load your games ESPECIALLY GTA 5 a lot quicker(or should)

Tests confirm that the improvements are minimal on the PS4. Improvements were like 2 seconds on booting up a game.

Really? There's an apple thread stickied right now and I see JOBSGANG everywhere on the arcadium and people don't rock with Linux? What do they think the software is based on?

I mean

Linux has a steep learning curve to set up. Once u get past that Not to mention it aint no thang to run Windows or OSX through a VM

I have Linux on a thumb drive. I did a lot of troubleshooting on computers and booting to Linux on a seemingly dead machine helps a lot.
