coli having 100k guests is the problem breh. Servers get tied up with too many GET requests. Site owners could invest in cloudflare and fix this but they aint gonna do it.
It was bad for me 3-4 days ago. literally had a couple of people requesting albums/mixtapes in that one thread in the booth. and i found like 40 links (J Love Mixtapes) as im searching while im on here. The post listerally didnt go through and when it DID i couldnt go back to my post and edit it. outside of that its isnt just the 504 error. it 500, 502 and sometimes 503
This site uses Imperva, which many would consider superior to Cloudflare since it's an enterprise-grade platform. It's highly unlikely that Thecoli is being taken down by intentionally malicious traffic.
The more probable scenario is that AI bots are scraping the forum for human conversation and no one has modified the Imperva WAF to account for it.
It's a super simple thing to fix, which makes it kinda embarassing that the issue has persisted this long.
