I still got my car note money (from when I had a car note) going into my seperate savings account at my credit union. to me, I never had the money to spend, so I don't miss what I never had. thats like $350 a month saving just off that alone without having to do shyt.

THIS IS DOPE ASS fukk QUICK

QUESTION IS THERE A SAVINGS ACCOUNT I CAN OPEN BUT CAN'T TOUCH WHERE THEY CAN TAKE 5 bucks a check but I can't touch it for a YEAR EVEB IF I BEG?

No, you undisciplined snot LOL (sorry I just wanted to say that).

I have my emergency fund in a credit union and I don't have any checks or bank cards for that account. Any transactions I make, I have to go to the branch and that's a nuisance in itself. Also the fact that the bank only has 2 physical branch locations makes it even better.

If you have small local banks with a few locations that's a good place to start.

This is a great Idea and I hate that i saw it late, but its cool cause I have a savings account I rarely use that has $70 in it so i'ma start with that and start from week 9.

I just have to be disciplined enough to make that deposit each week. I'm great at saving money, I'm just lazy when it comes to making alot of transactions.

you could put your money in a money market acct that yields 20% interest and have more just from the interest than that

Yeah but Money Market accounts typically require at least $1,000 to open. That's a cool option when you get used to saving and get some money built up but someone just getting started probably doesn't have that kind of bread up front.

yeah true

i was thinking from the perspective of some people I know who have too much in their checkin acct and could deposit that into a money market acct and draw off it
